CHYPACK with Cledirsa and ELAC, organized with big success an other hydrographic event. Participants from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela shared experiences and knowledge.

During the 10th, 11 y12 of December, 2008 at the facilities of the Barradas Hotel, Hypack technical staff dictated a training of the handling of this powerful tool.

S-57 Electronic

SevenCs and CLEDIRSA carried out the first seminar for electronic cartography for Inland Waterways and a workshop for SevenCs tools for inland specific cartography production.

EThis workshop presented the only training opportunity with the SevenCs applications for the production, validation, protection and distribution of S-57 information. At the same time a n inland waterway conference was dictated with the participation of Dr. Lee Alexander from the US.

The training covered production of S-57 charts with ENC Designer and validation of the same data sets with ENC Analyzer. The S-57 data protection using the standard S-63 was presented using ENC Master and the packing and distribution of ENCs with the ENC Server suite.

Delegates from Germany, Argentina, Brazil, the United States, UK, Paraguay and Uruguay participated at this conference.

Knudsen Engineering took the opportunity of the participation at the OI2006 to meet personally its agents from all around the world.

This meeting allowed to the above mentioned agents (including Cledirsa) to learn on the new series of *Sounders and Chirp Series*.
